Here are some of the missionaries that attended Operation G.L.O.B.E. 2008 and their thoughts and comments. It has been said that those that do not learn from history's mistakes are doomed to repeat them. I believe a missionary is setting himself up for a lot of unnecessary heartaches by not attending one of these training conferences. Missionaries shared with us trials as well as triumphs that are what every missionary needs to hear. The financial class was awesome as well as the practical advice given. It is well worth all the time and money to attend. ~ D. Timothy Aguiar, Missionary to Pueblo, Mexico Operation G.L.O.B.E. is an atmosphere that every missionary preparing for the field needs. I quickly realized that I was in an intensely spiritual and practical atmosphere. The need for the power of God and the will of God was constantly emphasized. Everything from the preaching and teaching to the meals was excellent. God was glorified and I was certainly edified. ~ Jeremiah Cooley Great preaching! Wonderful choir music! Many principles that are Biblical and practical were reinforced. Enjoyed your Spanish ministry. Your Resources Training was very helpful. Bro. O'Malley's indigenous church workshop was excellent. Always learn something new whenever I hear a financial seminar - keep this class for sure! ~ Alan Sanchez, Missionary to Nicaragua All of the information was great. I just wished I had this information before I went to the field. ~ Ralph Cepec, third term missionary in Trinidad Thank you for opening your heart to help missionaries with classes like these. If I had to pick one thing that was the most help, I would have to say that the session on Reaching Your City Effectively was really thorough and helpful. Many things were brought out that we hadn't thought of, such as using resources, starting a Bible Institute, training a song leader, etc. It was all a real blessing and I pray that our family will not be the same for the glory of God. ~ Sam Gossett I really enjoyed Bro. Doug Raynes classes on music. He was a real help to me and an encouragement. Now maybe I will get serious about learning more about how to play the piano because I know now that I will have to play for our church. I also enjoyed Bro. O'Malley's classes. I really have enjoyed and learned a lot from all the classes. ~ Christina Gossett, Missionaries to the Philippines The teaching we have been privileged to hear during Operation G.L.O.B.E. has been some of the most helpful, practical training we have ever received. So many things that were never mentioned in Bible College were dealt with here. We have received tools that will no doubt be used through our life of ministry. ~ Kevin and Natara Smith, Missionaries to Alaska Me, my wife and my daughter would like to thank Pleasant View Baptist Church for being so hospitable and generous to us! Especially to those that watched the kids in the nursery. From the bottom of our heart, Thank You! To the ladies in the church, thank you all for being so nice to us, especially to my wife. My wife has been so blessed by you. As a whole, I learned so many things from this seminar, even though I've already worked on the mission field for five years! My prayer is that Operation G.L.O.B.E. would expand more as you do it every year. ~Giovanni M. Solares and family; Missionaries to the Philippines I think we all have a vision for the mission field God has called us to, but do we have a strategy? Operation G.L.O.B.E. will help you think through and develop specific strategies to effectively achieve that vision. ~ Jason Christiansen, Missionary to Egypt
